ABOUT CABANA KITCHEN AND BAR

Jess and Sara purchased Cabana Kitchen and Bar in Sept 2024, with the Vision of Creating a New Chapter for Cabana.

Our Philosophy...

GREAT FOOD. GREAT DRINKS. GREAT VIBES…KEEP IT SIMPLE

Our Vision…

To provide an open and comfortable place for all to enjoy. We aim to produce good food, shake up some delish drinks and give hospitable service.

About the menu…

We believe that food brings us together…We bring to you small plates which are designed to share, to taste, to discuss and enjoy. If you’re not a sharer, the classics are your section!

Asian influence...

It’s fresh, colourful and packs a lot of flavour!!

In our menu, we are showcasing our favourite dishes, ones we like to eat ourselves and

want you to try. Yes, we have added our touch, and in some cases put our own twist on things.

About us…

We met in the hospitality industry (quite fitting) and we are foodies who love a good cocktail or two.

We love travelling, exploring different cuisines, having adventures, and are happy being immersed in different cultures. Having worked in the industry for over 20 years between us,

we brought all our experience together and gave it a shot…We Went Back to Basics!

About you…

Thank you to Pauanui, The Local Community, travellers from near and afar.

Thank YOU for sharing your time at Cabana with us. It’s our pleasure to have you dine (be) with us.

About our Team…

They are amazing! Thanks for the Pride, the Passion and the Care.

Thanks Team, for making Cabana a reality.

SO, sit back, relax and enjoy!

Much Love,  Cabana Team

PS…How this came about…

Our roadie in a bright orange car through Europe, without AC, landed us in Italy… Sitting on an east coast cliff, overlooking an ocean on the other side of the world… we were served “Nonas” handmade pasta or as they translated it “housewife” pasta.

With Aperol Spritz in hand and ‘Prosecco on tap’ that really sealed the deal, saying to each other, “We could do something like this”.

Now here we are.
